Welcome to Byways House.'B&B'

Welcome to 'Byways House B&B' and the beautiful Cotswolds, one of the most picturesque landscapes in the UK. Your hosts, Geoff and Sally Layland, welcome you to our 'home from home' B&B. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and steam railway enthusiats, we are in a great location to explore the local area.

Presentation

Byways House B&B is located in the delightful cotswold village of Greet, less than 1 mile from the ancient Saxon town of Winchcombe, Gloucestershire.

The local bus stop and Harvest Home Pub are a few minutes walk away at the end of the road. Many other excellent pubs and restaurants are within a 15 – 20 minute walk – or a short bike ride or car journey.

We are also fortunate to be just a 5 minute walk to the famous GWR (Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway), one of the UK’s best preserved Steam railways.

Check out the GWR Events Calender – and why not stay at Byways House B&B for that special GWR event? We have an excellent local pub, The Harvest Home, for your evening meals!

We hope you will enjoy your stay in our relaxed ‘home from home’ at Byways House.

Winchcombe Welcomes Walkers

Steeped in History and covered with wonderful country walks, the area is perfect for walkers and ramblers alike. Our local town of Winchcombe is the walking captital of the Cotswolds.

We are pleased to be members of ‘Winchcombe Welcomes Walkers’ – an excellent resource for local walks and attractions and lots more information for the local area.

Byways House B&B is perfectly located to cover the Cotswold Way, Winchcombe Way and many other local country walks.
